I’m the founder of Self-Conquest. My work examines how people develop and exercise Human Authority—the integrated human capacity and legitimate standing to govern consequential action.
I bring together legal reasoning, business experience, and a bilingual communication practice to examine how judgment becomes action.

My perspective has been shaped by questions that recur across law, business, and communication: What matters here? What can we justify? What follows from the way we respond?

The question behind the work
What makes human authority meaningful when action has consequences?
Communication is one place where judgment becomes visible. A person must decide what matters, what to say, when to question a premise, and what they are prepared to stand behind.
The wider inquiry concerns the human capacities and legitimate standing required to govern consequential action. Human Authority is the subject of that work. Self-Conquest is the developmental approach I am building alongside it.

A note from Karina
There is a person inside every consequential conversation.
I care about the moment someone finds the words they can stand behind—and the judgment to know when those words need to change.
My role is to listen closely, ask the question that brings something into focus, and create room for a more considered response. The work should leave a person better able to exercise their own judgment.

Her perspective draws on legal reasoning, business analysis and consulting, and a bilingual communication practice in English and Spanish. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from ITESO and is based in Zapopan, Mexico.
