By accessing or using this website, its publications, resources, developmental sessions and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Reading the website or submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, create a client relationship or guarantee acceptance for an engagement.
1. Use of Services
The Services are intended for education and professional development. Current services are available exclusively to people aged 18 or older.
When using the Services, you agree to use materials for their intended learning or professional-development purpose and within the scope of your engagement, where applicable.
You may not sell, republish, present as your own, redistribute as a substitute program, or commercially exploit protected materials without prior written permission, except for uses permitted by law.
You must provide accurate and proportionate information when submitting an inquiry, entering an engagement, or accessing a resource. Do not submit sensitive data, business secrets, or identifiable information about third parties unless it is necessary.
2. Nature of Services
Karina Carlos Arreguín operates her professional practice under the trade name Self-Conquest. Human Authority and Self-Conquest encompass publications, resources and developmental work in executive communication, discernment, judgment, leadership presence and communication under pressure. The scope, deliverables and conditions of each service are specified before an engagement is agreed.
The Services do not constitute medical or psychological care, psychotherapy, financial advice, individualized legal advice, compliance certification, or professional or institutional authorization. Each person retains responsibility for decisions within their own role and circumstances. These boundaries do not exclude the applicable obligations of Karina Carlos Arreguín or users’ non-waivable rights.
3. Intellectual Property
Original texts, audiovisual works, graphics, assessments, worksheets, learning resources, compilations and other protectable expressions published or provided through the Services belong to their identified rights holder unless otherwise stated.
Materials may be used personally for their intended learning purpose. They may not be sold, republished, presented as another person’s work, distributed as a substitute program, or used commercially without permission.
These Terms do not claim ownership over unprotectable ideas or methods, facts, public-domain information, client-owned information, third-party materials, lawful quotation, or other uses permitted by law. Ownership and permitted use of bespoke deliverables may be defined in the applicable engagement agreement.
4. Results and No Guarantees
The Services are intended to support discernment, clarity, communication and the capacity to act under pressure. Outcomes depend on the individual, context and other factors. No specific result is guaranteed. This boundary does not exclude applicable obligations or non-waivable rights.
5. Responsibility
Each person remains responsible for decisions within their own role, authority and circumstances. Nothing on the website authorizes a visitor to claim credentials, institutional endorsement or authority they do not hold. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
6. Privacy and Third-Party Services
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Making that notice available serves an informational purpose and does not replace any consent or authorization mechanism required for a specific processing activity.
Self-Conquest does not sell personal data. Providers supporting hosting, communications, analytics, storage, videoconferencing, AI, payments and administration may participate in processing as described in the Privacy Notice and under their applicable practices. Editorial or promotional communications use a separate subscription or permission process.
7. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated prospectively to reflect changes in the website, Services or applicable requirements. Material changes will be identified by a revised date. An update to public website terms does not automatically rewrite a separately accepted service agreement or create retroactive permission.
