FULL TRANSCRIPT

“To be or not to be” That is the question.
-Prince Hamlet

Have you ever contemplated ending your life? Just like in Shakespeare's Hamlet play, those who live in despair are attracted to death which they can choose as conscious suicide or from failing to take the necessary efforts to keep themselves alive. When we are living in shame consciousness it can be common that we die of neglect, indifference, carelessness, or accident.

To be, or not to be. I asked myself, feeling lost and hopeless at one point. I was disappointed in myself, beating myself up for my recent failures, for wrecking my health, and for the poor choices I´ve made that destroyed everything that I had worked on for years. My actions also impacted my friends and family in a negative way and I just couldn´t forgive myself. I became this ´non-person.

And for a long time, I held on to shame. I thought I was supposed to feel shame, I didn't even know why but I remember how unworthy this would make me feel.

It was realizing what shame was doing to me that changed everything.

We are living in difficult times, and I know what a struggle it can be to deal with the chaos of the world and carry shame on top of that. I want you to know that if you are feeling shame, you are not alone, and you can free yourself from it.

Carl Jung said that “Shame is a soul-eating emotion”

Freud determined that shame produces neurosis.

Early life experiences such as neglect, and physical, emotional, or sexual abuse lead to shame and warp the personality for a lifetime unless these issues are later resolved. Child neglect clips***

Living in shame is destructive to emotional and psychological health, and as a consequence of low self-esteem, makes one prone to the development of physical illness.

We can recognize someone afflicted by shame consciousness by observing their personality: They are shy, withdrawn, introverted, and self-deprecating.

In certain conditions, death can be attractive: most commonly suicide is an act of despair and desperation consequent to the loss of faith or hope.

I know by experience that at the bottom of despair, we are exhausted of energy and of even the will to survive.

So my friend if you are feeling ashamed of yourself, and you are tired of feeling unworthy it´s time to know that you can choose to love and accept, to honor yourself. You can choose to be free, you deserve to be free. And to do that you must take full responsibility for your well-being by letting go of the need to feel shame.

Letting go of the need to feel shame

No, you don´t have to hold on to shame, it´s not helping anyone.

No one´s life is getting better because you feel shame.

You don´t need shame to control your behavior. It doesn´t help you make better choices. YOU DON´T NEED IT! CHOOSE TO CLEAR IT!

Anything you did, does not prove there is something wrong with you, or that you are unlovable or unworthy.

YOU ARE WORTHY AND DESERVING OF THE BEST THAT THIS WORLD HAS TO OFFER.

Clear the shame that gets in the way

Clear the shame that gets in the way. if they think they do.

Your shame is not doing anybody a favor SO LET IT GO.

Set yourself free.

Choose to love yourself on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.

How to Transcend Shame

"If there is a God I ask for his help"

It is often in the very pits of Hell and absolute despair that our ego can be surrendered. In our desperation, we might feel humble enough to reach out to God and a great transformation occurs.

This confirms the truth of the Zen teaching "Heaven and Hell are only one-tenth of an inch apart"

Shame

How would you describe your connection to Infinite Intelligence, THE ALL, Divine Providence, The Universal Mind?

Rather than citing a passage of scripture on shame and disgrace, we ought to ask ourselves about our own unique way of living our faith. For a lot of people, that looks like rituals or religious practices, for others, it´s more of a blend of different spiritual sources and practices.

Researchers who study the psychology and neuroscience of religion are helping to explain why religion has survived for so long, and it all points to man´s need to search for meaning.

Religion gives people something to believe in, provides a sense of structure, and typically offers a group of people to connect with over similar beliefs. These facets can have a large positive impact on mental health — research suggests that religiosity reduces suicide rates, alcoholism, and drug use. On the other hand, It is well-known in psychiatry that atheists tend to experience more mental imbalances.

I speak with clients in different countries in the world and notice that many, express to hold some beliefs based on the religion that they were raised in, but that they don´t consider themselves to be believers or practice their creeds. A common theme I hear is that due to their disappointment with religion and the fear-based doctrine that they grew up in, they reject altogether anything related to religion or God.

"FAITH is the head chemist of the mind. When FAITH is blended with the vibration of thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer."
-Napoleon Hill

Confused about the sea of religions, beliefs, and creeds?

If you are still reading up to this point perhaps you have a real motivation to continue your approach and connection with The Great Spirit.

Indeed, man has distorted his image for his own convenience, creating all kinds of conflicts and confusion.

The shortest shortcut that I know of, to begin to generate clarity about the Truth, is through knowledge, even in a very general way, about the Hermetic principles:

This wisdom originating in ancient Egypt is the source of the foundations of all religions, theologies, and main sciences and philosophies.

It helps us to understand the Magnificence of the Creator and connects us with his Power, therefore, if what you want is to begin your relationship with your Creator without intermediaries, under your own terms and as closely as possible to your truth, discover the hermetic mysteries and remove the veil that society has built for mundane reasons.

Here is a source you can start studying. Take your time to understand it, and unlearn what you have known for your entire life, it could take years.
